Who I Am
Medical Practice
In 1970 graduated from Delano high school. In 1971 I joined the Air Force. Studied & became a Paramedic. From there I apprenticed at Dr. G. Porter & Dr. G. Graham Merced, CA. Studied under the direction of Dr. Porter at his office. Covered dispensing of eye glasses & fitting of contact lenses. Lab work edging of lenses etc.

Moved on to Dr. Weyand, Casteen & Wetterholm office. Continued in dispensing of eye glasses. Quality control of eyeglasses, frame management, negotiate with labs for best prices.

Opened Optical Eyewear Inc. June 1983 have worked with many of the Ophthalmologist & Optometrist in Bakersfield area. Licensed by American Board of Opticianary & State of California. We carry a large selection of quality lenses & frames.
